Back on Track

Back on Track is a free and confidential psychological therapies service for anyone over 18 living in Hammersmith and Fulham. It offers psychological help to people with low level symptoms of anxiety or depression, or those going through a stressful situation.

Brent Talking Therapies

Brent Talking Therapies is a free, confidential NHS service which provides psychological treatment for depression and anxiety disorders for people living in Brent. Feelings of low mood, anxiety, particular fears or problems coping with daily life and relationships, are all suitable for brief focussed talking therapies.

Check-in and Chat

CNWL’s Check In & Chat Service provides a friendly, trained ear to support unpaid carers who may be experiencing isolation or loneliness.

Check in & Chat has a team of trained volunteers to telephone carers for up to one hour per week for eight weeks to reduce the health-harming impacts of loneliness and isolation, provide informal support and encourage networking with community resources. Volunteer ‘Chatters’ will confirm who they are and why they are calling.

This service is for unpaid carers (family and friends) who are looking after CNWL patients.

The Cove

The Cove is a community based crisis alternative service, provided by Hestia on behalf of Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, offering non-clinical support to individuals experiencing a crisis or mental distress, following assessment by the identified CNWL services. We offer urgent appointments to make sure each person gets dedicated time and support.

We provide a welcoming, safe and supportive space as well as a hot drink and a snack, for anyone 18+ who is assessed to be experiencing or are at risk of developing mental health distress. The Cove aims to equip people with the skills they need to reduce their immediate anxiety, formulate individual self-directed support plans and provide them with information / advice around the local services and resources that may help them moving forward.

The Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Service (DAWS)

The Drug and Alcohol Well-being Service (DAWS) offers free advice, support and recovery services for residents in the borough who are affected by drug and alcohol misuse.

The DAWS team also provide:

  • support in homeless hostels and supported housing across the borough to engage residents who have drug and alcohol issues
  • support and work in partnership with St Mungos in Redcliffe Gardens where they provide outreach to residents in the Earls Court area
  • targeted work with local policing teams to reach out to street drinkers and rough sleepers

Grenfell Health & Wellbeing Service

The Grenfell Health & Wellbeing Service is a free and confidential NHS service for children and adults affected by Grenfell. They provide a range of psychological therapies and support to help you feel better if you’re feeling traumatised, down, stressed or have been bereaved. My Care My Way

My Care My Way support the health and wellbeing of local people who are aged 65 and over to help keep them well, closer to home. The service is run by a multi-organisation collaboration that includes GP surgeries, NHS hospitals, local community and social care services as well as many local charities and voluntary organisations.

Perinatal Mental Health Service

The Perinatal Mental Health Service offers assessment and treatment to women experiencing mental health difficulties during pregnancy and within the first year after delivery. This specialist care is delivered close to the maternity unit of your choice, your home or in community centres depending on your preference.

Single Point of Access

If you’re worried about your own or someone else’s mental health, and you need urgent support, contact the Central and North West London NHS Trust Single Point of Access (SPA) advice line.

This service is available 24 hours every day of the week and provides advice and guidance. If you feel that there is an immediate risk to you, a friend or relative then please dial 999 or contact your local Accident and Emergency Department.

Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service

The Vincent Square Eating Disorder Service offers a range of specialist services for women and men aged 18 years and over suffering from anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other eating disorders. The service is located in Kensington and provides a range of eating disorder treatments including outpatient therapy, day patient services and inpatient care.
