WORKSHOPS
Financial Stress and Worry
Provided by NHS Talking Therapies (IAPT)
Morley College Chelsea Centre
As the cost-of-living increases, understandably this can lead to an increase in stress and worry. This workshop looks into the relationship between financial wellbeing and mental health. Over 45 minutes, we learn how to prepare ourselves to take action on our finances (by increasing self-confidence and self-care). We will review practical problem-solving techniques to target money problems. Finally, we will share information to signposting to services that can support those in need.

COPING WITH CHRISTMASTIME
1.5 HOUR FACE TO FACE WORKSHOP 13:30-15:00
Morley College Chelsea Centre
The holidays around Christmastime are a time of year that has come to mean many different things for different people. Often, it’s a difficult time with the family and financial problems it can bring. Whatever our spiritual background and however we feel about Christmas, we are surrounded by it.
In this workshop we will support each other in looking at how we may be affected by the different aspects of this time of year, including: loss, eating/drinking too much and facing the New Year.
In particular we will work on:
- Exploring what we feel about Christmastime
- Deciding how to look after ourselves
- Thinking about how to manage our relationships

EATING HEALTHY DURING THE COST OF LIVING CRISIS
Morley College Chelsea Centre
We are living in difficult times, where the price of energy, food and bills have risen steeply. Everyday tasks, like cooking dinner, now cost more, which is why millions of households are struggling to put healthy meals on the table.
Thinking about how we shop, cook and store food could help us manage our budget better. For example, cooking in the microwave uses 80% less energy than in the oven!
For help on how to manage your budget this Christmas, why not join the FREE Change4Life workshop for more advice on shopping hacks, food storage tips, energy-efficient recipes and healthy, affordable swaps!
